The best partnerships are dynamic relationships founded in respect and honesty, in which partners strive for better understanding and appreciation of one another. Partnership agreements should take into account that over time the partnership needs to be re-examined to ensure that the good fit remains. Ensure that processes are in place to ensure that all partners operate in a transparent and accountable manner, with a common understanding of timelines and results to be achieved. Ensure all partners have a clearly defined understanding of how finances for the activity/project will be handled. Build in processes that encourage and ensure transparency and accountability.
